T-rex

T-Rex

A sacred object of idolatry, dating from the Age of Oil, this pocket-sized T-Rex figure is thought to have been worshipped by the cult of ‘Extinction'. This cult was mainly comprised of an elite minority known for its enthusiasm for the rapid and thorough extinction of its own species.

(found at East Cork, Ireland, and contributed to the Museum by Charlotte Leeder)
