Floating birdfeeder

This fragment of a polystyrene tray was redeployed as a floating birdfeeder. Long-lasting and capable of travelling hundreds of miles from land, it not only provided a floating food source for birds at sea but also a perching place so migrating seabirds could rest (and perhaps even nest) as they fed.
