Winner's medal

The Oil Age was a time of extreme competition - it was firmly believed that competition would lead to the best outcomes in all aspects of life. Competitiveness was encouraged from birth with rewards being given to the most talented and ambitious children. This plastic medal was a winner’s medal for the baby with the largest appetite at a regional Olympiad in the mid 21st century. Some analysts believe that over-reliance on competition was the single biggest factor in the eventual collapse of capitalist societies.
