Leanne is a writer and spoken word performer who has entertained audiences at festivals, shows and cabaret nights across the UK. She has performed at the Aldeburgh Poetry Festival, Folk East, the Beverley Folk Festival, and will be performing at Bestival and Camp Bestival later this year. In 2013 Leanne held the title of Fenland Poet Laureate, and used her time in the role to engage with schools and community groups, bringing poetry to people who may not otherwise experience it. Leanne also runs workshops and creative writing events, and co-hosts the Fen Speak Poetry Open Mic Nights in Cambridgeshire. Leanne enjoys using humour and pop culture references in her work to explore social issues and unravel the absurdity of the modern world.

Reviews:
Leanne Moden is one of the rare treasures of the East of England's poetry scene. She is a breath of fresh air for an art form so often concentrated on oneself, looking around her with a humorous but curious gaze many can't achieve. Her work is both beautiful and dirty, bold and timid, but at all times open, honest and a joy to hear. Hollie McNish, Page to Performance
Leanne Moden is a lemon sherbet of a poet. A sugar candy shell masks sharp, delicious surprises fizzing with wit and offering lots of guilty pleasure. Mark Niel, Milton Keynes Poet Laureate
